I know, I know…another trailer for Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince? Isn’t this, like, the eighteenth one?
Yes, but I’m glad I watched it. While I was expecting just another reconfiguration of the same footage we’ve seen over and over (and over!) again in previous trailers, this trailer showcases quite a lot of new footage. It’s worth checking out (even though Warner Bros. is very obviously trying to make sure that nobody forgets this movie is coming out after they delayed its release for six months).
I also recommend checking it out in Quicktime HD: 480p | 720p | 1080p
Next up, it’s not really a trailer, but it is a rather long scene and then a montage of footage from Transformers 2: Revenge of the Fallen. This movie looks like it will fully live up to — and surpass — the reputation of its predecessor as being big, dumb, loud techno-eye candy.
And that’s okay with me.
This footage originally debuted at ShoWest, and director Michael Bay has just recently posted it on his site. Enjoy.
Update: The video stopped working. The folks over at ComingSoon have had the same problem. They say that Paramount has been removing the footage from the internet, with no word on why. You can try to catch it at Michael Bay’s site, but it looks like it may have been removed from there, too. Sorry!
If it wasn’t for the fact that I was going to Iraq in August, I would really be looking forward to this Summer.
Oh, who am I kidding? I’m still looking forward to it!
Awww… Vimeo won’t let you imbed Transformers. Oh, well. I’ll just download it from Michael “Boom” Bay’s website.
Anyone else notice this Harry Potter is rated PG as opposed to the last couple? Wonder if that’s a move based on audience, or more money? I’d guess the last one. All in all though, definitely looks good.
