You won't get any argument from me about X3...it was awful. But Wolverine isn't exactly X4; it's all just about Logan, who was (in my opinion) the only redeeming factor to X3. Also, this solo film isn't directed by (*shudder*) Brett Ratner.

Transformers...I'm a dutiful child of the '80's, and having grown up watching Optimus Prime and pals, I'm excited for this sequel. I thought the first one was big, dumb, loud...and also the most straight-up fun I had at the theater in 2007. I think very few of the people in that movie could act, but most of us just went for the cars, the giant robots, and the explosions.

I had to take a look to remember what's coming out this summer. The only ones that jump out right now are Up and Harry Potter. If Star Trek gets good reviews, I'll have to take a look at one eventually -- although I have a whole family of Trekkies, so I probably see it one way or another.

XMen and Transformers are on my "if it's cheap and friends really want to see it" list. XMen 3 was a lemon, and Transformers was fun, if just a little dumb and Megan Fox couldn't act her way out of a wet paper bag.
