Putting it nicely, I was terrible at math in school. I survived Trigonometry and advanced algebra in high school with a lot of teachers (and friends) explaining things for me painfully slowly. I remember studying hours for an algebra final with fellow blogger Carl two days before he graduated from college. My final grade wasn’t too appalling, considering I hadn’t seen a math book for 4 years.
All of that said, I got this week’s Foxtrot joke and felt just a little proud of myself.

I can relate! Thankfully, my kids loved Square One TV (and I watched it pretty faithfully with them), or that one would have been right over my head.
Square One is exactly why I knew what it was as well! I use to watch it often after school. I don’t know if it helped my grades, but Mathnet was hilarious. Any kids show that can parody Dragnet and Faulty Towers can’t be that bad.
