Wanna See Some Wolverine Movie Pics?
Wolvie hates this title.
Man, I am excited for this movie.
Given how bad X-Men 3 was, maybe I should be a little more wary about getting my hopes up for this film. Instead, the complete opposite is happening, and I’m extra excited for X-Men Origins: Wolverine simply because the last movie was terrible.
Recall for a moment the scene in X2 where Stryker’s men invade the mansion and only Logan is around to defend the students. If that gives you warm, fuzzy memories, then you know how good this movie has the potential to be, especially with Hugh Jackman carrying the thing. Add in what is hopefully a more faithful adaptation of Wolverine’s lifelong nemesis, Sabretooth, than the first film gave us, a better look at their convoluted past (including their special ops days and the Weapon X program), as well as first-time appearances by fan favorites Deadpool and (finally) Gambit…I’ll say it again: I’m excited.
