There’s something special about the short-lived Joss Whedon drama Firefly, and more and more people are coming to realize it. I’ve waxed eloquent about it before, mostly in talking with other people, some of whom had seen it and were reminiscing with me, others of whom were skeptical but to whom I was evangelizing the show anyway!
There’s another convert. My friend Kim and her husband have just finished up the series after borrowing it from us. Kim, being even more of a book reader than I am, and something of a writer as well, has given quite a nice review of the series over at her blog.
For those who want to reminisce, check it out. For those not yet convinced…give it a chance!
And for those looking for more Firefly, have you checked out the graphic mini-series titled Those Left Behind? It’s set between the events of the show and its follow-up movie, Serenity. Joss Whedon is also in the process of another mini-series, titled Better Days. Only the first issue is out so far, but it’s been nice to revise the Firefly ‘verse.
Stay shiny…

Firefly is an AWESOME show.
Those Left Behind is now in my Amazon shopping cart, thanks for tipping me off to it Aaron.
Thanks for loaning the series to us! Next time we see you, we’ll probably be asking to borrow Serenity
I saw somewhere online that there were graphic novels of the series, and though I have not read any graphic novels before, I do want to read them now.
