Hmm, yeah. There was a segment on This American Life about that. These same people went to a rock concert by this no-name band starting out on their first tour, went to their website and learned all their songs, essentially became groupies, and then descended en masse on this concert. Then when the concert was over, the "fans" literally scattered... up and vanished, leaving the band members dazed and confused. That's where the line between "prank" and real life suddenly becomes very blurry, and that's the point of this "improv everywhere."

The video of Home Depot was pretty funny, but it didn't seem like people really noticed it. I didn't see too many funny glances from the other shoppers.

the bathroom attendant prank was funny, though. I love that they managed to convince the manager that they were actually from McDonald's corporate!

wow... it has been a long time since I've commented on here. how time flies...

yeah, I actually saw something about these guys a little while back also. I saw this video about them freezing in place in Grand Central Station in NY for five whole minutes and people just started getting creeped out. Pretty impressive. I know the leader guy says that none of this is about "making a statement" or anything like that, but when you stop the continual flow of daily life and cause people to react, then yeah; it's definitely a case on human psychology and the reactions during the unexpected.

I wonder if anything like that is going to happen here anytime soon...
