I’ve been meaning to post this for a while, but I’m only finally just getting around to it. Oops, sorry.
A while back, I was posting about the film then known as 1-18-08, which was also its release date. It’s other nom de guerre was Cloverfield. Turns out that’s the name of the movie after all. All we really know at this point is that J.J. Abrams (woohoo!) is bringing back the giant monster movie with style — a “Blair Witch” cinematography for that “you were there” feel. Finally, the official trailer is here, but still no glimpse of what the monster might look like (except for a couple quick frames where you see its back between some buildings). Anyway, for now, this is staying on my list of “wannaseeits” for the holiday and post-holiday season.
