Two Princes

And, no, I’m not talking about the Spin Doctors.

Yesterday, it seems, Disney and Walden Media released the first one-sheet for the upcoming Prince Caspian film. The poster is gorgeous, and you can view it in hi-res here.

But looking closely…the towers on the left, the swords, the flapping hair, the glowering eye…does anyone else think it looks like it owes a bit of inspirational respect to the promo art for another recent prince?

I am trying to think of the perfect words to put into what I’m feeling right now after watching the Price Caspian footage… And I’m just too stunned. The movie looks absolutely incredible.

p.s. how are you liking Eldest?

I am enjoying it very much! One-third, maybe not quite halfway through. He has improved since Eragon!

Yeah; he’s done a much better job with the pacing in this one. You have Eragon’s storyline that takes almost a backseat to Roran’s action-packed quest (who I never thought would be a main character). And I’m sure I’ve said this before, but the last few chapters of Eldest set Paolini on a level very close to Tolkien and/or Rowling.
